Innovation of the education process towards implementing AI tools (International Visegrad Fund No. 22410227)
Project Duration: 2024-2025
Local participants: prof. Ing. Drahoslav Lančarič, PhD.; doc. Ing. Radovan Savov, PhD.; Ing. Petra Mikulcová; Ing. Kristína Medeková
Universities face several challenges related to the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process. The project will help implement innovative solutions that have not yet been sufficiently used in current study programs. Project and its required outputs are related to the main mission of the project organization and partners, which are universities from the V4 countries. The planned outputs (events, products, activities) of the project will contribute to sustainable cooperation in the V4 region, improve mutual awareness of participating universities and other practitioners, support cooperation within the V4 with a focus on the field of education, and support the necessary interdisciplinary cooperation and interdisciplinary solution to this complex and current task.
The project will help implement innovative solutions as a current and "hot topic" that has not yet been sufficiently implemented in the official study programs of the mentioned universities. The project therefore has an indirect goal related to updating the knowledge of teachers at the mentioned institutions, who will become responsible for the preparation of new innovative teaching solutions based on artificial intelligence.
AI has the potential to revolutionize the education sector by improving learning experiences, supporting teachers, and offering students more personalized learning opportunities. The added value is the focus on using AI to develop innovations in digital literacy, critical thinking skills, and preparing students for future employment and career success.
The project is co-financed by the Governments of the Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
