On 15th February 2024, a professional seminar entitled 'Local System with Global Effect' was held in the congress hall of the Agrobiotech research centre, attended by 150 participants.

The event was organised by the Slovak Slovak Agriculture University, the Institute of Economics and Management, in collaboration with the Slovak Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Czechoslovak Society for Modern Agriculture. Current changes in policies, strategies, and tools require managers of agricultural enterprises to respond to frequent changes. Mgr.Ing. Jarmila Dúbravska, a member of the European Economic and Social Committee, who presented a contribution on the topic of 'Agriculture in the EU focused on the needs of citizens'. She emphasized the need to respond to current global challenges placed on the agricultural sector in line with the interests and needs of end consumers. Ing. Petr Blahynka presented the topic 'The Impact of Changes in the Global Order System on Agriculture'. He highlighted the current state, future developments, and necessary steps towards system change. The presentation has an educational, informative, and networking character.
