Transnational Project Meeting within the SUSTA Erasmus+ Project at the FEM SUA in Nitra

On 14-15 March 2023, the fourth transnational meeting within Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships project "Teaching Sustainability in Higher Education in the Field of Economics and Management" (SUSTA), no. 2020-1-PL01-KA203-081980, was held at the FEM SUA in Nitra.
On 14-15 March 2023, the fourth transnational meeting within Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships project "Teaching Sustainability in Higher Education in the Field of Economics and Management" (SUSTA), no. 2020-1-PL01-KA203-081980, was held at the FEM SUA in Nitra.
After the meeting introduction by the local project coordinator Ing. Jana Gálová, PhD. and project member PhDr. Anna Mravcová, PhD., the participants of the TPM were greeted by Dr.h.c. prof. Dr. Ing. Elena Horská, the dean of the FEM SUA in Nitra. The partners then focused on the project progress report, specifically the state of the intellectual outputs IO3 (E-book on sustainability for students) and IO4 (Collection of case studies on sustainability), as well as continued discussion on IO5 (Movies on teaching sustainability). At the end of the working day, a sightseeing guided tour of Nitra took place, covering the history of the city and highlighting sustainability initiatives, which was followed by a joint dinner in the wine cellar under the castle. The second day started with a visit to the AgroBioTech research centre, with tasting of innovative food products (healthy biscuits and beer from the university brewery). Afterwards, the participants discussed financial and administrative issues, the added IO6 (Research papers) and remaining tasks towards the end of the project (December 2023).
The project no. 2020-1-PL01-KA203-081980 aims to create an involving concept of teaching sustainability for students of business related studies which will result in raising the awareness and involvement in the problems of sustainability. The leader of the project is the Poznan University of Economics and Business (PUEB, Poland). As partners, 5 universities from countries that differ in terms of the environmental concern were chosen: Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA, Slovakia), Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche (UMH, Spain), Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (CZU, Czech Republic), University of Zagreb (UNIZG, Croatia) and University of Szeged (SZTE, Hungary).
