During October 20-28, 2017, several training activities took place at six Jordanian universities in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan within the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education project entitled "Vocational Training Center for Undergraduate Students and Teachers in Jordan (VTC)", no. 561708-EPP-1-2015-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, coordinated by the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Four lecturers participated in these activities from the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, which is a partner of this project: the local coordinator Dr. Johana Paluchová and assistant professors Dr. Jana Gálová, Dr. Anna Mravcová and Dr. Jakub Berčík.

The training was provided in the form of seminars for staff and students at six Jordanian partner institutions: German Jordanian University (in Madaba, Amman), Mutah University (in Maw'tah), Jordan University of Science and Technology (in Irbid), Al-Balqa' Applied University (in Salt), Al Albayt University (in Al-Mafraq) a University of Jordan (in Amman).

J. Paluchová lectured on Sales and Marketing Skills: Contrast in International Marketing between Chosen European – Asian – African countries”, J. Gálová on Basic Fundamentals in Project Management: Internationalization, Networking and Project Cooperation Opportunities in Higher Education”, A. Mravcová on Global Citizenship Education – Critical Thinking in Solving Problems and New Ideas” and J. Berčík on Skills in Using Computer SoftwareNeuromarketing as a Progressive Method in Market Research” completed with practical presentation of the outputs of neuromarketing research.

Each day, there were a lot of participants present at the training and all seminars were followed by many questions and discussions, where staff and students also expressed their interest in study or internship in Slovakia as well as visiting our university and developing further project collaboration. Experiencing cooperation with Middle Eastern culture, like the Jordanian, has given us many new ideas and topics for future cooperation. We are already planning to support our Jordanian partners in submitting educational projects.
