From January 23 to February 1, students of FEM and the Vice-dean for research and PhD. studies doc. Ing. Zuzana Kapsdorferová PhD., participated in the 9th Financial Leadership Conference, which takes a place at National Taipei University, Taiwan.

They got the opportunity to be involved in the preparation of the whole event and experience excellent “Aisan management”, which thinks about every detail. Students, namely Anka Pavelka, Adela Suhanski and Petronela Tarinová presented students their lectures in the field of marketing, personnel management and project management. The vice-dean for research and PhD. studies doc. Ing. Zuzana Kapsdorferová PhD., presented during plenary session with a lecture in the field of quality management.

“We will keep forever in our memories great interest of the students to gain new knowledge, as well as accompanying cultural program, which was provided just by students, who organized whole event” said the Vice-dean for research and PhD. studies doc. Ing. Zuzana Kapsdorferová PhD.

Taiwan is highly developed country and we are glad that at least for a short period, we had the opportunity to experience how life in the “Smart city” is. We are really impressed by the willingness and the helpfulness of the Taiwanese people” said the participants.

The whole conference ended with social evening, after which all the students left to celebrate Chinese New Year with their families and friends. The conference was very successful and the Faculty believes that the experiences, which students brought will also help and motivate others to become more involved in university activities.

Now we can see that investing in relationships with a strong partner abroad is worthwhile strategy. It brings new knowledge, experience and different perspectives. Really helpful were as well meetings with the Dean of College of Business, as well with the Head of Department and other colleagues of the Department of Finance and Management, which opened
the perspective of new joint educational and research activities.

FEM always seeks the support for their innovative and progressive activities. This working trip to Taiwan was supported by LEDVANCE and in this way we would like to thank you. LEDVANCE is also our partner in teaching Chinese language at FEM.

“Students remember that the world is one global village!”
