In the days of 25.03 – 27.03.2015, students of English study program Business Economics (International Studies V4), under leadership of the Head of the Centre for Research and Educational Projects FEM SUA in Nitra, Ing. Eva Kapráľová, PhD., have attended vocational field trip in Krakow.
The excursion was realized with the support of the International Visegrad Fund and the aim of this excursion was to provide examples of good practice in agribusiness in abroad.
Students had the opportunity to visit a beekeeping farm Sadecki Bartnik in Stróże, which is a unique example of diversification of agricultural activities not only in Poland but throughout Central Europe. Students became familiar with the process of processing and finalization of all bee products; they visited the beekeeping museum, laboratory, honey school and finally enjoyed the different types of honey. Part of the excursion was the visit of the historic downtown of Krakow and the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine.
